This guy was carving dragon heads (among other things) in this wood with a chisel. As you can see in this video the wood itself is very soft and enables the carving of complex shapes.

The Japanese government has officially appointed Dora-e-mon, an animated robotic cat, to be Japan's cultural ambassador to the world. That's Cute! There would be a lot less violence and strife in the world if countries were run by giant cuddly robot-cats. ## Most of us spend a lifetime pursuing happiness, but new research is showing that that goal may be largely out of our control. In one study, researchers at the University of Edinburgh suggest that genes account for about 50% of the variation in people's levels of happiness — the underlying determinant being genetically determined personality traits, like "being sociable, active, stable, hardworking and conscientious," says co-author Timothy Bates. What's more, says Bates, these happiness traits generally come as a package, so that if you have one you're likely to have them all. You might as well give up right now. ## [VIDEO] Workers are using tiny brushes and chisels to release a huge dinosaur from its rock tomb. The 65-million-year-old duckbilled dinosaur was found in southwestern North Dakota. WHAT MAKES THIS DINOSAUR SKELETON SO RARE IS ITS SKIN IS STILL INTACT. ONCE THE SKELETON IS UNCOVERED, HISTORIANS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT THE SKIN LOOKED LIKE, IF IT WAS STRIPPED OR SPOTTED AND ANALYZE THE MUSCULAR BUILD OF THE DINOSAUR. BUT BEFORE THEY GET TO THAT POINT... THESE HISTORIANS ARE VERY CAREFUL.. ESPECIALLY SINCE DAKOTA IS ONE OF THE ONLY DINOSAURS FOUND WITH SKIN ON -- 70 MILLION YEARS LATER.
